QIP for iPhone beats all Russian applications
Moscow, September 21, 2010 — Today, Media Mir – part of the RBC group of companies –announces the launch of Internet messenger QIP application for iPhone.
Earlier this week, the instant messaging client program QIP became available for download from the App Store for free. The application’s first version for iPhone supports the most popular protocols for Russia, email checking and animated smileys, not to mention an alert system that notifies the user of newly received messages when the application is minimized. Users can choose between Russian and English interface languages.
QIP for iPhone will also be updated to support such popular services as Facebook, Twitter and Vkontakte in the near future. Furthermore, iPad users will be offered an interface optimized specifically for iPad.
Within just one day after the launch, QIP Mobile Messenger soared to the top among Russian applications at the Russian Apple App Store.
