RBC TV launches new studio at Moscow City
Moscow, July 16, 2012 — RBC OJSC (MICEX-RTS: RBCM) hereby announces the launch of a new TV studio on July 16th for the largest Russian business television channel RBC TV at the Moscow International Business Center.
The immediate proximity to the headquarters of major banks and international corporations will allow the TV channel to obtain exclusive commentaries from leading experts and market analysts, which is especially important for RBC's coverage of top priority topics, such as trends and development prospects for the real and financial sectors of the Russian economy. This will also enhance RBC TV's ability to release news more rapidly.
This is RBC TV's second studio located in downtown Moscow, which brings the company even closer to key market players. On May 15, RBC TV began to operate a new studio complex in the Ararat Park Hyatt Hotel. “RBC TV's viewers especially value the channel's flash news updates and high-quality analysis by prominent market commentators. The launch of a new Moscow City studio complex will help RBC TV reach maximum efficiency and offer its audience an even greater amount of news updates and reliable information,“ RBC CEO Sergey Lavrukhin said.
RBC TV is the first Russian business channel. It is the leading and largest business media in Russia. Among the channel's major foreign partners are Bloomberg Television and CNN.
