RBC again wins award for best State Duma coverage
Moscow, January 15, 2009 - On the Russian Press Day - January 13 - Russian journalists accredited to the State Duma of the nation's Federal Assembly were mustered to receive awards for the best coverage of the lower house's activities in 2008.
Entries were accepted in 6 categories representing Russia's leading mass media: television, newspapers, magazines, internet publications, news agencies and radio stations. Lyudmila Kuzmich, a journalist from the RosBusinessConsulting information agency, was named one of the best journalists in the News Agencies category.
"RBC has always focused on providing full and prompt coverage of the activities of Russia's government on its business resources, which led to numerous awards for the company's team as the best parliamentary correspondents. This is a special pleasure, as some 1,500 journalists from nearly 500 mass media are accredited to the State Duma every year, but only a few are honored with accolades for their high professionalism," said General Director of RBC Media Artyom Inutin.
