RBC announces cooperation with Nielsen Online, global leader in Internet audience measurement
Moscow, December 9, 2008 - RBC Information Systems (MICEX, RTS: RBCI) has announced its cooperation with Nielsen Online, a renowned world leader in Internet audience measurement services. RBC views receiving of independent Internet traffic statistics, with their reliability confirmed by global media measurement standards, as the main aim of collaboration with Nielsen Online. RBC plans to publish the audience statistics it will receive for its main websites.
Nielsen Online has built its web analysis on the SiteCensus audit solution, which collects audience statistics from meters installed on websites. The measurements by Nielsen Online offer website owners and advertisers daily Internet resources’ traffic updates (including a geographical breakdown), as well as provide insights about user behavior.
