RBC Awards 2015 winners announced in Moscow
Moscow, December 4 — RBC PJSC (Moscow Exchange: RBCM) announces that RBC Awards gala ceremony took place on December 3. Winners were selected in the “People,” “Companies,” and “Society” categories.
RBC Awards ceremony was broadcast live on RBC TV. Winners were distinguished for their contribution to the development of the Russian economy, business, and society.
The short list of nominees was compiled on the basis of the public voting on the RBC Awards website at http://awards.rbc.ru/. The winners in each category were selected by the expert panel that was comprised of prominent businessmen, public officials, and editors-in-chief of RBC’s publications.
The winners of RBC Awards in the “People” category are Arkadi Stolpner, DTC IIBS (“Entrepreneur of the Year”); Oliver Hughes, Tinkoff Bank (“Manager of the Year”); and Roman Avdeev, MKB (“Investor of the Year”).
The winners of RBC Awards in the “Companies” category are Qlean (“Start-up of the year”), Avito (“Breakthrough of the Year”), and B&N Group (“Deal of the Year).
The winners of RBC Awards in the “Society” category are Galina Shirshina, Mayor of Petrozavodsk (“Public Official of the Year”), Sergey Lapenkov, Sergey Kolotovkin, and Igor Dmitriev, "The Immortal Regiment" campaign (“Citizen of the Year”), and Nuta Federmesser (“Philanthropist of the Year”).
Based on the user vote, the Grand Prix was awarded to the Mayor of Yekaterinburg Yevgeny Roizman.
The mission of RBC Awards is to create an image of a new Russian businessman and to recognize successful entrepreneurs, executives, public officials and community leaders who use their own resources, ideas, and energy lead and drive significant changes that promote the development of Russian economy and society.
